    Labrador
I have a Labrador, female, 4.5 months old. Within 7 days prior to her island appears on the lower or upper eyelid. The island appears only in the morning and goes away after about 2 hours after waking up. Other events there. The vet gave us eye drops torbex, 4 times per day for two drops. But the island is still occurs. Not always in the same eye or in the same eyelid-sometimes on top and sometimes on the bottom.

    Thanks a lot in advance,
    Best regards

What do you mean an island appears? If the problem is persisting, call the vet. He can see it, we can't?

    When was your fog diagnosed?

I have no idea what an island in the eye is but the dog was prescribed antibiotic drops - it would appear it's an infection, could travel from eye to eye, needs time to clear up.

Good that the dog went to the Vet - not all owners are that caring.

Every morning, one of the eyelids (upper or lower) bloated. It is not always the same. The island subsides during the morning. The vet did not specifically say that it is conjunctivitis. He examined the eyes panned tear ducts, gave an eyedrop, but am still one eyelid being bit.

How long have you been using the drops? Sometimes it takes more than one course of antibiotics.

Again - you're a good pet owner, and I congratulate you.

Blepharitis comes to mind. This is just a guess, but if I'm understanding correctly the eyelids are swelling.
Blepharitis can be caused by different things and may very well come with conjunctivitis. You are on the right track, follow your vets instructions and keep the eyes cleaned with sterile eye wash.
If you need to remove crusty stuff you can make a warm compress and soak the area, don't pick, pull or scrape, you could risk scratching the eye.
You should see some improvement within a few days, but it my take well up to 3 weeks to clear, so follow up with your vet.
    Keep up the good work.

Thank you very much for your understanding and support. I know I need to be patient. I'll look and advice on veterinary medicine. Thank you again.
