    Breakup issues
I broke up with my boyfriend of seven years because I just wasn't happy anymore and I felt like it was a chore trying to make him happy. We were friensd for three years before we dated and I wish we would have just stayed friends. He ran away mad when I broke up with him then called me 10 times and came to my house begging me to change my mind. I told him I'm not happy anymore and he kept saying he can't live without me and he just didn't understand that I would do this to him. He hasent contacted me since (it was last night), but if he does what am I supposed to say?

Tell him, that you have said all you have to say and that you are going No Contact so that both of you can begin to let go and heal. If he continues to contact you or begins any other negative behaviors (for example stalking,) be prepared to call the police and go through official channels to protect yourself anyone else who may need it.

Do not give in to any thoughts of going back to being friends. Do not give either of you the false hope you could be friends again.

No Contact is stopping all forms of communication. You do not call, text, email, follow on Twitter, I'm, etc. him and you do not accept any form of communication from him. Block and de-friend as needed. If you do see him somewhere (work, friends, on the street, etc.) be polite but do not encourage a discussion. If you have personal items that need to be exchanged or mutual business to take care of, see if there is someone who can act as a go between. If not, be business-like and do not get drawn into meeting for a social reason.

Take care of yourself and good luck.

Okay, so he hasent contacted me in any way. So that part of the question I'm okay with. But I still have all of his stuff and every time I see something if his it reminds me of how I hurt him. I'm a super compassionate person so I feel awful when I hurt anyone. Especially someone who used to be my best friend before he was my boyfriend. I know I shouldn't contact him now. But I want to make sure he's okay. What do I do?

First - please stop posting the same question, 3 times I think.

You put all his things in a pile and throw a blanket over them.
Compassion extends to not dragging out a breakup. A little more pain all at once, but a much shorter time span.
