    Door bell button sticks
Wired lighted doorbell buttons stick and cause chime to overheat. Have replaced both $14.00 bells twice.

Are you saying that your door bell button was sticking and that you replaced it and the new button also sticks?

If so, look to see what is causing it to stick. The only thing I can think of would be, that when mounting it you distorted it. Perhaps by screwing it too tightly to an uneven surface.
