    Whine in gear change
I have a 2002 Honda Civic EX with an automatic transmission. When the car is cold and I first start driving there is a whine sound. With each gear change the whine changes pitch. This makes me think that the problem is in the transmission. The sound will go away as the care warms up, or if I stop after a few minutes and turn of the car and then start it again.

Please give me your best ideas.

    Thank you, Scott
