    My right hip/ kidney area
My right hip and lower back on the right side, where my kidney is; is very swollen and hurting when I touch it in a certain spot. The pain does come and go. My hip gets pains as if it needs to "click" or something. I do Not believe it to be my hip joint injured in any way but something to do with my kidney or innards by right hip. I did have a racing heart rate early when the pain first came about and did feel nausea. My heart is rate is back to normal and the nausea has subsided.

So what did the ER say when you went.

This could be very serious, and you need to be examined.

You can't possibly think we could begin to know what is wrong. See a doctor, preferably at a clinic, not the ER. Most hospitals have associated clinics.

ER is most costly, clinic much cheaper, urgent care, you will want somewhere that can do texts and body scans

Pain around Kidney area [ 1 Answers ]

I have had for three days now a dull ache in my kidney area. If I hiccup, sneeze, or cough it seems to catch. I thought I had just stressed myself out with an event I was catering and with rest would be back to rights... didn't happen. Any ideas?
