    Am I pregnant
My period was two weeks late. I started. It only lasted for two days (it was a light flow) then stopped for a day then it started again, then it stopped early again. I usually have my period for a whole week & a heavy flow. Am I pregnant?"

Pregnancy can only be diagnose with a urine test, a blood test, or an ultrasound. Since we cannot access any of these online, we cannot tell you if you're pregnant.

If you feel you might be pregnant, and since your period was two weeks late, try a pregnancy test using first morning urine. If the test is negative, wait for your next period. If it's also late, test again or get a blood test done.

We cannot guess whether you are pregnant by symptoms alone. You could be pregnant, or this could just be an off month for you.

Thank you. I know I shouldn't ask you if I'm pregnant or not. I know you don't know, but I'm just really worried, & I did a stupid mistake

I already told you that pregnancy cannot be diagnosed online. It can't be diagnosed by symptoms, it can't even be diagnosed if you tell us that you know for a fact that you had sex when you ovulated, and now you're a month late. We can't guess, even if you have all the pregnancy symptoms. It can only be diagnosed by a urine test, a blood test, or an ultrasound. So you'll have to wait until Monday, and you may not even find out then. Many women don't get a reliable pregnancy test result until well into their second trimester.

If you want a guess, sure, I'll guess. I can also guess what the lottery numbers are going to be. You can guess what color underwear I'm wearing. Guesses don't mean diddly squat.

What if I take a blood test, will that be more accurate then the urine test?

That's really your call. At two weeks late, and not really late, just having weird bleeding, I'd wait.

A urine test is fairly inexpensive. I'd wait until the next period, see if you miss it, before I dished out money for a blood test.

    But, it's your call.

It depends on what blood test you take, quantitative or qualitative. One is more expensive than the other.

For now, you would be best served by taking a HPT using first morning urine.

My "period" was really weird. It was light for the first 2 day. I usually have a heavy flow. Like in the afternoon of the 2nd day it stopped. Then it started up again the next day bit it was really light. Then my "period" ended early this time, but thank you for the help.

During your life times will be strange sometimes, some will just be missed for no reason you willl ever know, some come early, others late. There is only one way to know if you are pregnant, and that is a pregnancy test.
