Ac has odd smell when running, still cools and blows fine, also the water drip after running has a oily feel to it

Try flushing out the evaporator with a very mild solution of soap and water. Rig a suitable bottle and pump--go in through the evaporator drain. Afterwards, rinse thoroughly with water.

Additionally, be sure you have changed the cabin air filter in the last 15,000 miles.
