    Mixing medications
I have just started taking Oxycodone/Naloxone mix prolonged release tablets.
I am suffering intense pain at the moment and don't know if this is just a case of the meds taking time to get into my system, I started taking about 10 hours ago without any pain relief so far.
I was wondering if I am allowed to mix Oxycodone with Solpadol 30mg/500.
Thank you kindly. Need some solution and doctors doesn't open until late tomorrow. Thanks.

Is the other medication also prescribed ?

But no, without doctors advice, it is not good to mix.
Yes, the prolonged tablets take longer to get into the system, it may be next day before the effects are slowly felt.

Yes, they are left overs from a prescription previous to the new medication being prescribed.

Thank you so much for answering me. Much appreciated and have taken the advice on board. Won't be risking mixing them then. Thanks again. X
