    I need help
Hi, I'm 14 years. Ever since I've started hitting puberty, I've noticed that my vagina has stared to smell. I can't described it as fishy but a little more like oniony. I don't know if that makes sense. Lol. I used to wash down with soap but then stopped due to the fact it messes up your Ph balance. I'm also a bit chubby and have thick legs. Just wondering if that helps. My discharge can be considered normal.

Vaginal smell is normal. If there is no itching, no abnormal discharge, then it's likely just your natural smell.

Have you told your mom about this? Have you been checked to make sure this isn't an infection? Are you sexually active? What products do you use when you have your period?

Wash down? You can wash all you want between your legs and all around your vagina.
Soap doesn't really have much affect on pH inside either; it's douches that do.
But there's no reason to wash inside. Women do after sex sometimes.
