Can I Sue my husband for neglecting me mental & physically & material?
Im an Indonesian married to a Canadian man. I would like to sue him for lying about his life and neglecting me.Can I do that? I'm not after for anything only want him and his family to know they can't treat people anyhow they want. We met on a dating site and everything he said was a lie. He didn't even has a job, but he said he had. And after the mrrg 27th Aug 2012, we were planning to live in china because he got a job there but he left after a month and didn't tell me anything until the day he was leaving china while I was still waiting in Jakarta to get my visa. He claimed he was depressed and I didn't heard anything from him for 2 weeks and found the fact he didn't tell his family abou our marriage. I left alone since then till today. And once again we tried to applied for jobs for him In Canada but he couldn't get one and got one in Indonesia because we thought it ld be a good idea, but once again, he wouldn't come with so many excuses and didn't even tell me anything and ignored my phone call and emails.

I had to quit my Job in Indonesia when I was trying to get my China Visa because I thought I would move to China. And when he left me, he didn't even give me financial support for 3 months and only gave me $300 when I asked since January - Jun 2013. We didn't have any kids yet but $300 / month isn't the amount anyone can take to have a decent live even in Indonesia.

Once again he asked me to find a way to get Canadian PR but when I was preparing everything for months, he changed his mind.

I only want him and his family to learn a lesson, thy can't treat others the way they are. We were mrrd in Indonesia.

Can you please give your best advise
    Thank you
    Vr

First off... its not illegal to lie to a spouse... or change your mind... or every married person would be divorced. Several times over.

And unless you are divorced and have a alimony order in place by the court... he doesn't HAVE to give you anything.

No, you can't sue him for lying to you.

Divorce Alimony is all you can do other than stand up for yourself or just disappear on him. It seems like the two of you have no problem getting around so next time you 'travel' do it without him and tell him that you don't want him following after you

You met online and BELIEVED him? Why?
Did you actually spend any time together? How long?
In some countries a 'wronged' spouse can expect compensation in ways we in the US and Canada and Europe etc can't. All we can do is divorce and let our lawyers fight for us.
