    Going crazy
K here is what happen and I'm going to be really straight up, and I want the answers not to be about what I did, but about the ? Itself. If u can't do that, don't reply. I had a abortion. A week later I wake up to my live in boyfriend literally inside me. Too blunt? No children here I hope. Anyway, tis is sum tha happen in the past, and I'm OK, don't mind it. But in tis case, not supossed to be having sex, you can imagine my anger. Tis is not to my question, but save the Ohhh he is an comments. I been wit him 6 years and I'm shocked, bcus he is a decent guy, always have been. Still, I snapped, and we still not OK even though he said sorry a thousand times. My real issue here is, what is the chance of me being pregnant from tis? Is been a week since tis and ima wait one more to do a test, but I'm very scared. If I was to be, I will lose it. And in my head, I want to leave him, but have nowhere to go. Literraly. Plus I have 2 children, no so easy, no money to move. But I will deal wit the leaving him later. Could I be pregnant? He did not finish... ( sorry) and it was only a few seconds. I want to die. Figure of speech, relax. Thanks

It is near impossible to understand you. The site requires complete words and sentences.

If you want a mature response, please post a mature question.

If you are saying you can't or do not want sex because you are afraid of getting pregnant then you need to find a guy that can't have babies or is impotent or something. But it is unfair to expect your live in boyfriend to be abstinent. I hope I understood the ?

First, please don't presume to dictate who can and can't respond to your post or how they respond. Once you post you open yourself to any comments anyone wants to make.

Second, the reply was not ignorant. Your post is very difficult to understand. It is rambling, uses incomplete word and sentences and makes little sense.

It seems you want to know if you can be pregnant from having sex shortly after an abortion. The answer is ANY time there is penile insertion there is the risk of pregnancy. So yes its possible.

And a boyfriend who tries to have sex with you while you sleep is not someone I would care to continue a relationship with.

From the sounds of it she doesn't want sex at all because she has a big fear of pregnancy. Some girls like waking up to it others NO but I think she made it clear she doesn't want it at all from what I could understand

From my understanding this wasn't the first time the boyfriend has done this, and in the past she didn't mind. The reason she minds now is that she recently had an abortion, and there's a waiting period before you're allowed to resume sexual relations, and that waiting period hadn't been met. In other words, the boyfriend put her health at risk because he was horny.

That's my understanding anyway, and I'm not 100% sure I got it right, the post was very hard to read and understand.

Yes, I agree this is what she meant. I had no trouble getting the point of her post.

But at that point, would it create a viable pregnancy? If it was a medical abortion, then D&C would have been done. And it is my understanding that curetage, a complete clean out of the uterus, makes it more viable.

I really can not understand almost anything they wrote.

But it appears she had sex one or three week after an abortion,? Or had an abortion a week after sex ?

But if you had sex a week after an abortion, pregnancy is the least of your worries, please see your doctor at once, since there are infection issues, or damage that can be done.

Next were you asleep on drugs or drink ? How does he get on top of you and "in" you without your waking up or knowing he is having sex with you ?
Seem like you have a issue there and perhaps need to sleep with panties on.

But yes, if you had sex, you could be pregnant.

No you can not test one or two week after the sex, you will need to wait almost 4 to 5 weeks, and sometimes even a little longer. To test.

It would have helped if you had left out about 90% of your story and asked your question in one sentence: Can I get pregnant a week after an abortion, if he was inside me for a minute and didn't have an orgasm.
Answer: yes, but fortunately the odds are low. The trouble with low odds is that with pregnancy, you are still 100% pregnant.

I'm sorry if my post was hard to understand. I know you can get pregnant anytime there is sex, I was just venting I guess. And most of you got it right, my guy has done that in the past, and its always been OK, I mean we are living together, and is OK wit me. But this time, he knew it wasn't because of the procedure, you have to wait, should wait at least a month before sex. He just try to play dumb, saying I thought it be OK because its been a week. And I'm not insane, I don't expect him or any man for that matter to live with me and not want sex. I explain to him, and he said he doesn't want to leave. I guess he thinks I will change my mind. The problem is, I have high, very high blood pressure, and is not too many birth control options. Doc won't put me on the pill, we try iud and the shot, didn't work for me. I said I would tie my tubes, but I'm having second thoughts about that. I heard you can go on early menopause, and Im just not sure. The issue is, we always been a very sexually active couple, and I know this is not going to work out.

    How old are you?

Many doctors won't even consider a tubal on someone that's young, or has no children. That's why I ask your age. Do you have any children?

Do you use condoms at all? They're not the most reliable form of birth control on the market, but they're definitely better than nothing.

No, a tubal won't cause you to go into early menopause, you're thinking of a hysterectomy, which isn't done to prevent pregnancy, it's for medical reasons only.

No problem. I'm 39, have 3 kids, 21 the oldest, yes had him young... 12, and 8. I'm done having kids. Wen I had the last one, 2005, doc didn't want to tie my tubes then. Now they will, and as far as the early menopause question, my doc said what people is saying here... no you won't go into early menopause by tying your tubes. Thas something I heard, from friends and stuff, and even though I will listen to my doctor first, I believe everyone is different, so I'm a little concern. Of course I also don't want to have a unwanted pregnancy again.

Menopause was a blessing for me - no more increasing moodiness each month and only about 4 good days. I had no hot flashes or discomfort of any kind. Yay!

I never cease to be amazed at what people believe about all things medical. They see a connection between 2 conditions in one person, and they assume it's true for all people.

Your doctor is right. Your friends are likely thinking of a complete hysterectomy, which removes everything that causes menstruation, which is why you go into menopause when you have it done.

A tubal will not lead to early menopause, that's not something you should be worried about at all.

You should know that there are women that have tubal's, and the tubes grow back. Don't want to scare you, but even a tubal isn't always 100%. If course you have a better chance winning the lottery than having that happen, but it has to be mentioned because even one case, means it's not 100%, and there's definitely more than one case out there where this happened.

Why doesn't the boyfriend have a vasectomy? A tubal is surgery, you'll be off your feet for a few days. A vasectomy is a procedure, it's done in the doctors office (at least where I live), and he'd be in and out in a matter of an hour, and able to go back to work the next day.

Thanks! Tha info was great. Why he doesn't have a vasectomy?. he doesn't want to. Like I said, I have kids,he has 2 girls, and I know he wants at least one more . He would have kept this one. It was my decision to abort, and he didn't agreed, but support me. Is easy to sound like the better person and say, yes I would keep a baby when in reality things are tough, financially I mean. We both work, no public assistance here, but I have my 3kids and he pays child support on his. Also, he is younger than me, and even though things are OK now, and we been together for 6 years, I don't think we will last forever. By the way he hates when I say this, but I like to keep things real. So you may ask, why am I with him then?. because he makes me happy right now, and thas all that matters to meas of today. I was in a long 10 years abusive relationship with my 2 youngest father, a guy my age. And this guy, younger like I said has been real good to me and my kids. Well... just went on and on about my life... guess thas why I sign up. Is like thinking out loud. Thanks for listening. :)

Hope it all works out for you and your guy continues to be supportive of you. It's hard finding a good guy nowadays. I think things will work out for you two.
