I have 2005 Honda accord, 4 cyl. Automatic:
Noises: I hear a grinding noise when I make RIGHT hand turns; noise is behind the dashboard on the passenger side.
Yesterday, I suddenly hear a high pitched shrill noise from under the hood as I am driving. It does not last long, approximately 20-30 seconds and then stops and returns later on 10-20minutes later. |

Check the right half axle. Typically, the outside CV boot splits open, the grease is flung all over the place, and the CV joint starts to squeal and grind. The noise should be even worse, if you turn the steering wheel all the way to the right and go in reverse. A new Cardone Select half axle runs around $50.

I Have a CYL sensor error on my 1991 accord, I tested for resistance and it was in specification 391 (250-500 Ohms) and there's no ground to each pin in the ignition harness connectors either, any ideas as to what else may cause this?
I have an erratic idle 1997 honda accord 4 cyl. "non vtech" only in neutral or park, once I put it in drive it goes steady. Then if I put it back in park it is stii okay until I rev the engine then it get erratic again.this happens hot or cold. But when cold it is more intense.
I want to change the front rotors and pads. I wanted to know if there was a specific socket or torx bit I need to remove the calipers.
