Water is backing up in bathtub and coming out of bottom of toilet
If we flush the toilet it goes into the bathtub and when the bathtub drains water comes out from around the bottom of the toilet. We have two bathrooms and it only does it in one. We just moved into this house two weeks ago it's been vacant for 2 years or longer and it hasn't had any problems until this last weekend. We have snaked all the lines and replaces the toilets deal and it's still doing this... any help would be greatly appreciated.

You have two separate problems... a clogged drain... and a defective wax ring seal under the toilet.

For the toilet... see if it moves.. if it doesn't you might get lucky... and its just the seal... if it moves you have to find out why and fix it... if its done that long enough there could be rot under it.

You have to snake the drain from the tub.. it night just be a soap and hair clog.

I don't see two separate problems here. Wax rings are not designed to contain water backing up from the closet banned. You have a blockage downstream from the tub. The solution is to snake the drain line. This can be done from one of two places. You can pull up the toilet and snake from there or you can snake from the lavatory roof vent. If you snake from the roof put out enough cable to reach the base and 15 for more. Good luck, Tom
