Regarding Microdox - I’d ask her again - this is a tetracycline, specifically, Doxycycline, available in India - a Category D Drug - and I quote: “There is positive evidence of human foetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk (e.g., if the drug is needed in a life-threatening situation or for a serious disease for which safer drugs cannot be used or are ineffective). IMS Class Tetracyclines ATC Classification A01AB22 - doxycycline ; Belongs to the class of local antiinfective and antiseptic preparations. Used in the treatment of diseases of the mouth. J01AA02 - doxycycline”

Why would you need any such “cycline” drug?
