    Teething
How do I tell if my baby is teething? She drools a lot, and sometimes cries unconsolably.

    Teething
    Hi,
    Do you have a Pediatrician?
Here is a link with some very good information about teething.

    Teething
Kids start at diff ages. Mine started teething about 10 months. Could feel the teeth against the thin skin of the gums. Drooling, irritable, low grade fever occasionally. Now is 20 months and has had four teeth coming in. Same. Drooling, sometimes snotty, hands to ears or face (like a headache) and sometimes lower appetite.

With higher fever or extreme congestion its good to see your ped. Upper respiratory infection can look like a "bad teething day" but persists.

If yours is drooling like mad, likely teething. Also gnawing on things, biting to put counter pressure on gums.

Your baby might be colicky (I'm not the best person to trust considering I'm not a doctor or pediatrician I just have a colicky little brother) but you can use the flat part of your nail and if you hear/feel a scratch there is a tooth coming in. Whenever my brother has a hard time with teething we get a rag wet freeze it then give it to him.

You should be able to feel distinct bumps where the teeth would be coming in. They'll be lighter than the rest of their gums. Also your baby will try to chew on absolutely EVERYTHING. This can start as early as 3 months. An absolute god send is Hylands Teething Tablets. They're gel is great too.
