    Hot water in mixer tap
My bathroom flow is fine, but my kitchen mixer tap has started the following... when the hot water reaches a temperature the slow slows down from full flow to a trickle, and if I turn the tap on fuller it stops flowing completely. This is often accompanied by banging.

Dcold water supply in the tap is fine, as is both hot and cold in the bathroom.

Any idea what coud be causing this please?
