I have had a history of Urinary Tract Infections ever since I was a little girl. As far as I remember I have not had one until I first had intercourse with my partner (still current). I have seen my doctor every time (which is almost every time we have sex) & he has taken multiple urine samples & I have even had an ultrasound. Both of these have come back with no answers. I was tested for STI's, which also came back negative. Seeing my doctor every time this happens is proving to be expensive and ineffective. They give me medication called alprim, which takes away the pain and symptoms, however whenever I have intercourse the next time, a UTI will come straight back. We use lubrication and are wary of the positions that cause the less amount of friction. What can I do?
