Unable to open concinnity faucet to replace cartridge
I have a concinnity mount vernon single lever faucet. It leaks out of the spout. I believe it needs a new ceramic cartridge. I cannot figure out how to get the faucet apart in order to get to the cartridge. There is no plate to pop off and I don't see any screws. How do I get this apart?

Remove the lever handle then unscrew the retaining top piece that holds the lever handle in place.

I have the same faucet with the same problem.
(and this is my second Mt Vernon, concinnity faucet with the same problem!)

I think it is a design problem because the plumber who installed the brand new second one had the same problem with the brand new faucet.
If anyone knows how to solve the problem, I'd love to know the answer.
