Diverter valve stem

I have old plumbing. The company or brand of the stem is standard. No allen wrench screw to adjust anything. The water will not shut off when you turn the shower on, the water flows through the shower head but still flows through the tub as well.How can I correct this problem.
I have a early 90's Kohler shower valve and rounded out the cold stem valve seat.

I am trying To replace/repair my kohler shower stems/washers but I can't find a wrench that fits. 29/32 is too small and 31/32 is too big. Do kohler shower stems use a special 30/32 size that my stem wrench set doesn't have?
Handle does not grip on stem valve

I have a 1950's shower set-up, with separate hot and cold valves for the tub and shower. The stem valve is stripped at the point where the handle connects; I can't find a replacement stem valve that fits the plumbing; and I don't want to completely tear apart the tile behind to rebuild the whole...
Stuck valve stem

I'm trying to remove the valve stem in the shower (hot water) and I can't get the stem to come out. The piece that has the flat sides (only 2) I believe is supposed to unscrew and it won't budge. I would like to avoid breaking it but it won't budge. What can I try? View more questions Search
