    Pulsating water problems
Bought a brand new home last year. We have city water not on a well. The water pulsates constantly especially in the shower and always has.Questioned the builder on this and as usual they said oh it will go away in 6 months. Well its been over a year our water pressure is very low and we get a pink sediment that fills the toilet bowls constantly within a few days of cleaning them. Does anybody know what to do??

Only in the shower? Pulsating is usually indicative of a bad PRV.

Pulsating water flow [ 1 Answers ]

Hello- I am having a water flow problem. We recently had our 2nd shower worked on (replaced the stem approx 4 months ago). Ever since when you use the kitchen sink on hot water only, the water pulsates on full flow. If you move it from hot to less hot, it stops. Also just recently (last week) the...

I have a 2yr old, 2 story home. I returned from Iraq about 6 months ago and noticed that at times the water will pulsate as it comes out of any fixture. I don't remember this problem existing before I deployed but it certainly exists now. It does not occur all the time and at times it is more...
