Should I have my daughters leg x-rayed?
My 7 yr old daughter says that her right leg keeps "beeping". It hurts and is keeping her from sleeping, she is restless and says it hurts. I have wrapped a warm cloth around the knee area and have it elevated on a pillow. This has been an ongoing issue for a few years. It comes and goes. Should her leg be scanned or x-rayed?Kc,Mo.

Have you brought this up with the pediatrician before?

Yes I have mentioned it on numerous occasions, and every time they said or did nothing, didn't bother to even take a look at it.

Get a second opinion. Maybe make an appointment with a pediatric orthopedist.

You cannot get an x-ray because you want one, or feel she needs one, it has to be ordered by a doctor.

With any doctor, if you are not getting an answer, keep asking or find another doctor to ask. To bother like this, it must be somethng, and should be addressed
