    Puppy with allergies
    Hi! My labradoodle has terrible allergies right now. She has been constantly itching and has developed flaking skin and little pimple like sores. I have recently changed her food to Iams sensitive; however, not enough time has passed to be able to tell a change. I would like to start her on an allergy relief shampoo, but I already must bathe her in an anti-dander shampoo because my boyfriend is allergic. Does anyone have a suggestion in how to bathe her with both? Or a shampoo suggestion that combats dog allergies and their dander?

    Labs and retrievers are among breeds that can have skin allergies. What you are describing sound like hot spots and need to be medically treated.

    I had a dog with this issue who needs to be on lamb and rice food and when she got hot spots, we had to put her on steroids. A vet should be managing this with you, especially in a puppy.
