I think I have hidradenitis suppurativa in the genitals. I have one really sore bump that's raised and red. I also have hyperhidrosis, so excessive sweating could cause the sweat gland to clog. The bump will not pop; it only bleeds and seems deep inside my skin. I haven't noticed it getting much bigger, but I have been trying to squeeze it, so it's really red and swollen. It doesn't have a white head or anything on the top of the bump. Should I squeeze the bump or try to pop it? I don't think it's an std. I can only see that one bump. Also, I have a dark brown spot in another area, which makes me think this has happened before and healed. Am I right in my thinking that it is probably hidradenitis suppurativa? Will it go away?

If you attempt to squeeze whatever this is and it ruptures inward you could cause a bad infection. No one can diagnose what we can't see.

Trying to pop it is a bad idea, opening up your skin in that area is asking for trouble with infections, double trouble.

If you squeeze the bump and it ruptures inward you could cause yourself a serious infection.
