Hi, I am just updating you on my recent events and hope if anyone has any similar experiences this will help...
2 weeks ago I had a heavy cramp down below when I went to sit. After this I had a medium bleed. The next day then week after that, no pain, no bleeding, but still pregnancy symptoms such as achy boobs and sickness. I saw DR, she referred me to the early pregnancy unite. I had an internal scan and HCG test. There was nothing on my scan and my hcg was high. 48 hrs later I had a nother HCG, and again every 48hrs for 10days. Each time my levels rose by 100. There was still no bleeding or pain. 2 days ago, had another internal scan and there was a 3cm blob (not sac or embryo), possibly tissue. I was admitted immedtiatly as expected ectopic. I had a routine EPRC (D&C), this was to take the 3cm tissue out, they examined this and think it was pregnancy tissue. They told me that they will test it to confirm and then that is it. If it isn't then I will need a laproscopy and possible removal of a falopian tube if it turns out to be ectopic. I doubt that is what I have as I have not been unwell. They said the remaining tissue, would cause hormone cells to still produce. Now the tissue has been removed the hormones should drop. What I am saying is, this is a long and drawn out process but in the end I will be OK, with as little surgery as possible. Anyone who has to go through this, I know you will be anxious and scared every day, but it's the only way to do what's right and you will be OK, just hang ion there and be brave ;)
