How to find a boyfriend
OK, here's the "spill":
I'm a sixteen-year-old gay teen from Maryville, TN. Two years ago my boyfriend and I broke up due to some... complications. I've been lonely ever since, and I've decided that I'm tired feeling alone and unloved.
My mom will not let me date Juniors or Seniors, (I'm a sophomore in high school), and all of the other gay teens that I know of are taken. What should I do?

Here is what you do. Hang out with both boys and girls, gay and straight. Learn all about personalities and quirks and idiosyncrasies and what makes people tick. Find out their interests. Develop your own along the way. Then, when someone special comes along, you will be able to mesh well and discover common interests.

Don't look for love my friend and no need to be a loner just because you don't have a boyfriend. Just be happy and you will attract those who want to share in your happiness.

Gizmo - As a fellow member of Club Gay, these people have given you some excellent advice. Trust me, you don't want to rush into a relationship. If you rush a relationship it will fail. If you take the time on the front in to get to know someone, really know that person, then you have a good chance of having it last.
I am currently with the love of my life. I dated him 2.5 years before I would commit to being exclusive. In that time we got to know everything about each other so when we decided to be exclusive there were no surprises. It takes patience and a lot of work, but it is worth it in the end.
