    You have all the signs!
Now you just wait, and thank your lucky stars you haven't started yet.
About 35 - 40 years later, it will all be over. I was GLAD it was over because of mood swings.

There's no way to tell you when you will start, it all depends on your body, and when it's ready.

Are you very skinny? Weight can play a role in when you start menstruating. If you're too thin, you may not start. In fact, some athletes that spend a lot of time working out, and are more muscle than fat, don't get a period for years because of this.

A good indicator of when you might start is your mom, and your other female relatives. When did mom start? When did Grandma start?

If you haven't started at 16 your mom may want to take you to the doctor to find out if there's a medical reason. But at 15 it's not unusual not to have started. Some girls are just later than others. Enjoy it while it lasts. :)

I am a very skinny girl, naturally. I started mine when I was 12 and my mum when she was 15/16. To be honest in this day and age all women start at different ages, but generally younger because of the food we teens and girls eat and our exercise regimes. If you have started yet, it's not so bad. But if by 16, you haven't started, see a woman doctor or your local GP. Don't worry, and don't stress - I can assure you, you're not missing a thing!

Okay thanks guys, my mum said she started late, but still I kind of don't know what to expect when I do start and I worry about things like what if I start whilst I'm on holiday, or in an exam

All girls worry about when they're going to start. If it's something you're concerned about, and you're showing signs that you will start soon, then wear a panty liner. They make very thin panty liners that are barely felt. Chances are that you'll have light bleeding when you first start, so a panty liner will protect you until you notice the bleeding and change to a thicker pad.
