Blue and painful Free Flap graft
I had a free flap (skin, muscle, bone, blood vessels) done on top of my foot four years ago due to chronic osteomylitis and it has completely healed and the flap is normal color. As of 2 hours ago half the flap has turned blue and red and the rest of the foot is swollen and very painful. Is this serious and need to go to the hospital or will it just heal on its own? I am currently in a foreign country away from my surgeons so I am not sure what to do.

Going to a doctor is a stellar idea right about now. Something could have tweaked and this could be serious.
