    Small Claims Lawsuit Question
Out of all the Judge Judy shows that I have seen, if you state that it was a "gift" then it is a "gift and no money will be given back to you".

If you gave this car to your exboyfriend as a "gift" then he does not owe you any ,money. A gift is recognized as just that, a gift and does not constitute it's return or a payment for a gift. Only if it was a loan would he be repsonsible for any payment or its return. I'm sorry.
If you are in that shaky of a relationship, that you broke up 2 months alter... maybe buying someone a car might not be the thing to do in the future. Hard to learn with expensive mistakes. Maybe find a guy who can afford his own car in your next relationship. :-)
    Good luck.

    Very bad advice.

Do this, and you will end up behind bars.

Maybe it was good advice in 2007 when the question was asked -

Otherwise - some very interesting answers!

And I agree with you. That's probably why that person has never been back. She's in jail with her friend/relative.

I guess I overlooked the antiquity.

But since then, someone has severed the thread. Normally the right thing to do, but now it's so disjointed that it's very hard to undrerstand.

    Oh well.
