    My sears riding lawnmower backfired and now will not start. Help>
    Our Sears riding lawnmower backfired and quit running while my husband was mowing. He said he may have put too much oil in it. Please help.

    If he did put too much oil in it then he will need to drain it out and get a new spark plug or at a minimum clean the old one really good.
