What is the name of the part for a 2000 Lumina that goes in the transmission somewher
My 2000 Lumina starts to act like the transmission is going out by making a bumping or knocking sensation only after it has been driven awhile and gets hot.
I was told it was an advance vacuum sensor but can't remember the other one but that the transmission was not going out. Does anyone know about these parts?

Your question is really tough to answer because there are literally hundreds of parts in a transmission. You should really take it to a transmission shop. Nothing good ever came of an inexperienced person working on an transmission.

Ford Taurus 2000 transmission [ 3 Answers ]

I was driving my 2000 Ford Taurus when all of a sudden the car seemed to have shifted seamlessly into neutral as the car RPM just revved while the car began to coast into the breakdown lane. 2000 Mazda 626 transmission [ 1 Answers ]

My car started this morning as usual but when I put in reverse nothing happened, it didn't shift. The same thing occurred when I put it in drive, it didn't go. When I stepped on the accelerator the engine revved but no movement. Is it the transmission? And if yes what's wrong?
