Please read this because everything in this story is true and I experienced all of it. Thank you. When I was 10 I was living in an Edwardian house, when I lived there I never felt safe and I always, always felt like there was someone watching me, then one night I woke up suddenly and I sat up on my bed and my door was opened and then I looked outside my bedroom door and I saw a black shadow figure of a man, with spiky hair no eyes or anything just the figure, and the figure was walking past my room, there wasn't a sound, and the thing is I wasn't that scared, even if it was the first time I have seen a ghost and then I knew this house definitely wasn't right. But I knew for sure it was a ghost shadow because isn't it something has to make a shadow and when that man walked past the door, nothing made that shadow. The second time I saw a ghost was I was with my mum and there was a black shadow again but of a little boy with same hairstyle as the man, but the boy ran across passed my door, and my mum thought it was my brother so she called his name, no response, and so I told my mum about the man I saw, and now I saw this boy and he looked liked the man. So my mum saw the ghost as well. Now this third shadow I saw was the most terrifying thing that ever happened to me, and I swear on my life I am telling you the truth, I promise you, but it is so hard to believe because there isn't anything like it, and it's one of those things that you just can't believe because it is that bizarre and crazy, but I swear, I promise I am telling the truth because I couldn't even imagine something like this in my head. Even thinking about what happened to me makes me so scared. But I swear I saw this, I woke up really late again but not for no reason, it's because I thought I felt my cat sleeping on my bed with my foot on the left in the middle of my single bed, so when I got up to stroke her, she wasn't there, but what I did see was something at the end of my bed and it definitely wasn't my cat, what I saw was even hard for me to believe, I saw an animal but it was a shadow, sitting on my bed and it looked like a lion cub or something, because it had a mane like a lion but it was the size of a lion cub, and this shadow I saw has eyes, they were glowing like a normal cats eyes glow at night, but it was alive and it was just staring at me, and I was staring at it, and I swear I saw it had the tail of the devil, but it scared me SO much because in my whole life I have never seen anything like it, it is so hard to believe isn't it... But I am telling the truth. But the next thing that happened was that it screamed at me, and I can't even explain how terrified I was out of those three ghosts I saw, and I couldn't even call my mum because I was to scared so I just hide under my cover and put myself back to sleep, then when I woke up, it was gone. I never felt safe on the house, and lots of my friends said the same, and one of my close friends said once when me, her and a couple other people were there she saw something on the corner of her eye and saw a man in my bedroom looking her. She said this before I told about what I saw... She was crying, so there is proof I saw the man too... when she said that I was so terrified, just think about, oh my god. I am 14 now and I live in a new house, but I think they were bad ghosts and maybe demons, I don't know, but I want to face my fear and I want to visit that house again one day and see if I see them ever again, I still own the house so I can go back. So do you believe me, and what do you think?

At night, my old bedroom was full of shadows of all different shapes. I had convinced myself something evil lived under my bed. My younger sister took over that room when I went off to college and decided the evil thing lived in the closet, so she always had to have the closet door shut tightly before she could go to sleep. We each were in our early teens when we had that bedroom.

I think you're taking advantage of a question and answer site by asking things like "do you believe me?" in two different threads. Most of us don't care to answer those types of questions when we know the thread is going to go nowhere.

I'm sorry I wrote that, and that made you not believe me, I am telling the truth though. Its really intresting your story, I always felt like my shadows were evil too because they where dark tall ones, I just didn't like the feeling of the presence of them.

What exactly is your question? It seems that you only want people to believe you. Well, not being able to investigate your claims, and knowing that the majority of claims made by people about hauntings turn out to be false, I'd have to say that based on your word alone, no, I don't believe you.

I should add that I do believe in hauntings, I do believe in "ghosts", and things that aren't easily explained. But I don't believe anything I haven't been able to investigate myself, unless the claim comes from someone I know very well, and trust. That's not you.

So, I don't know what's going on, and no one online will ever be able to answer that part of your question accurately, and no, I don't believe you.

There are many reasons people cross paths with spirits. Many are random... and many are caused. I see no evidense in what you wrote that would explain specifically why those things happened.

It's actually a pretty common occurrence. Most people just don't discuss it openly.
