How to remove mineral deposits from hot water line.
We have cleaned the mineral deposits out of the hot water heater. How do you flush the hot water lines?

    Thanks.

How do you flush the hot water lines?
Are you sure you have mineral buildup in your hot water lines? Are any faucets clogged up? Is there sediment on any aerators? To flush a water line you must first shut the hot water off at the heater, Now go to the furthest faucet in the run. Now, disconnect the hot water angle stop at the 1/2" chrome compression nut and pull it and the supply free. You should now have a open pipe coming out of the wall. Place a bucket on the pipe and have someone turn the water on at the heater. When the line runs clear then reassemble, Good luck, Tom
