    Should we keep going?
My girlfriend and I have been together for almost a year and a half now, and we both are out of high school. Now the only issue is that she is staying here in Houston while I'm going to college in Kansas. I have classes and ball to worry about all first semester and I can't drop below a 2.5 gpa and have to perform on the field in order to keep my 100% coverage scholarship for next year.

Lately we have been having big bumps and the thought of breaking up constantly keeps popping up in my mind because of distance and priorities that we have between us. I love her to death but I don't feel the same spark we used to have and I feel this is only hurting us both.

Thoughts or comments are appreciated, but please don't be condescending or rude. I don't need that at this stage in life. I'm just really confused and need opinions.

When it comes to questions like these, where someone asks if they should stay with a girlfriend or boyfriend, usually the person already knows the answer, they just want someone to agree with them.

Bottom line, we really don't know you, we don't know her, we can't decide this for you. You have to make this decision, and I think you already have, you just haven't followed through with it.

    Good luck in college. :)

College should really be your focus now. It is the ground work for your future. Anything that distracts you from that should not be in the picture. Plus I agree with Alty - haven't you already decided this?

Make a list of priorities and see where she falls in this. Then just be honest with her about it. Doing well in school should be priority #1.
