    Flu or ?
My boyfriend currently has a fever of 102.2
He started feeling bad on Wednesday, but still went to work Thursday and Friday. He has had cold chills and running fever. He has has little to eat (soup has been about the only thing I can get him to eat). He has been drinking water and gatorade to try to keep hydrated, but he is sweating a lot. Yesterday he was weak and dizzy, so he has been in bed since. I am worried, and wondering if I should take him to er. He currently has no health insurance, so he doesn't want to. I have been giving him ibuprofen to try to keep his fever down, and it does seem to help when I can get him to take it. He thinks it is the flu, but I am not sure. What other symptoms should I look for?

Why ER, and spend 100's or even 1000 dollars.
You go to his doctor, or at most a urgency clinic.

He should not be working with a fever.
