    1/2 apple juice 1/2 water, and gentle massage of her tummy.
    Are you breast feeding?
    If not, try a different formula, and call your pediatrician.

    Please don't give your one month old apple juice, even mixed with water. Apple juice, even mixed with water, has no nutritional value for a one month old and can cause more harm than good to the sensitive digestive tract of a newborn that young.

    Are you breastfeeding? Formula feeding? If you are formula feeding is your formula supplemented with iron? If so, that might be what is causing the constipation.

    What do you consider constipation? How often is she defecating? At one month old, depending on your feeding preference, she should be having at least one bowel movement a day, preferably two.
