Unlocking code for gmc radio/cd 2007

Have you tried calling the dealer for the code? Are you locked out of the radio or is it just waiting for a code to be installed?

I switched radios, I now have a radio / cd from an 07 suburban, that says locked, thanks, going into a 08 sierra truck

Some of the newer cars have the radios hooked to the computer onboard the car and some just require a code to be put in manually. If you still have the owners manual from the car you took it out of then the code may be in it and also check inside the glove box. Otherwise you can call the dealer and ask what is needed to make it work in your 08 truck.
