    Fiction book from the 1970s where a governess's body is invaded by the spirit of the
    I am looking for a fiction book from the 1970s (along the style of Barbara Michaels's novels) where a young governess is attacked by the spirit of her employer's dead wife. Her body is invaded by the spirit and she has to watch the action from the spirit world until she gets strong enough to take back her body. It was a wonderful story and I'd love to find it again.
