    I can't figure out who manufactured this piece

    Bottom says made in U.S.A
    Markings "656"
    Looks like a small eagle with spread wings on bottom

    It is a beautiful piece, but I can't help you identify the potter. There are many people who produce good pottery and put it up for sale. If it had British markings I could probably help, but not in this case. Sorry.
