    I give up? What kind of noise? When does the noise occur? What does the noise sound like?

    A scraping noise when the blades are turning.

    Make sure the blade brackets are tight and not hitting the outside fan shroud. Make sure the fan shroud it tight against the mounting frame and not bent.
