    Free advice on hvac units
    My outside unit quit working, I bought new fuses and put a new thermostat in, but it still don't work, the fan only blows warm air, and stays on all the time. Thank you

    Could be a bad capacitor, contactor, low Freon, bad compressor. Time for a service call I believe.

Competent with fluke and tools. Yearly routine last year was a bug in pressure switch 200 bucks later worked fine. Can't afford tech this year. Was heating 2 weeks ago worked fine. Today changed filter, killed power, pulled and cleaned pressure switch still NOT blowing cold air. What next please?
