The sun supplies about 1.0 k W/m2 ( 1.0 W = 1 J/s). Plants are able to produce 0.20g of sucrose (C12H22O11) per square meter of lead from carbon dioxide. Working from the standard heats of formation, calculate the percentage of sunlight that is used to produce sucrose.
