    How will I know if my belly piercing is infected?
    I have my belly piercing for 2 months now. The skin around my belly is very sore I can’t touch my belly. I clean it with surgical spirits twice a day! I was this weekend the whole time in the hot swimming pool don’t know if it can be the water or something …does anyone know what is wrong please help!!

    I don't know if it's infected. It sounds infected, of course. You need to see a Physician or, minimally, the person who pierced it. These infections can get very ugly very quickly. What was the advice about swimming?

    Surgical spirits or rubbing alcohol should NOT be put on your piercing. And yes, the chlorine plus bacteria in the swimming pool Did nothing for, basically, an open wound.

    Clean it with only salt water and clean cloths.
