Goodman central air not turning on
When calling for ac the unit does not respond. The t-stat ac symbol blinks when calling for ac. When I call for heat the t-stat symbol (flame) it stays constant and the unit starts up normally. Do you have any suggestions?

I have turned switch on on outside wall to ON, checked the electrical box in the garage and it seems to be working, installed a new filter in the furnace, set the thermostat to 68 degrees and it still shows temp at 77. What isn't working?
I had my ac turned on and it was working fine, all of sudden started to get warm in house and checked ac unit outside making loud humming noise and fan was not turning. But inside the ac will turn on from the thermostat. If anyone could help I would appreciate it. Thanks
