Blade engagement cable on a Craftsman ltx1000 lawn mower
I have a craftsman ltx1000 riding lawn mower. We took the deck off to replace the blades and belt and now I have more of the cable that engages the blades then I had to begin with and no tension? I am not finding a diagram on this to see where it may have come loose. Help please.

I have the same unit and am dealing with the same issue... turns out I was trying to install the cable keeper into the bracket backwards. The cable swoops around from the rear of the bracket and the hook on the spring goes forward to the bolt in the middle of the pulley directly in front of the bracket then is held on by a keeper spring or cotter pin... hope hope hope I've helped... good luck
