    What Does My Husband Need to Do to Adopt My Son
    My daughter had a son by an illegal that got deported. She is now married to an Army soldier. He wants to adopt my grandson but unsure of where to begin and funds are an issue as soldiers don't make enough to pay extravagant legal fees. Is there options available to active duty soldiers?

    This has to be done through the courts and an attorney is highly advisable. It is possible to legal help from Army lawyers.

    Why did you ask if your husband can adopt then refer to your son-in-law?
