Switch motor direction
What two wires do I switch to reverse the direction of a single phase motor with a start capacitor and a centrifugal switch there is also another small black unit with three wires coming off it... need to know which wires to switch if this can be done! There are 5 wires coming out from the motor a red,black,white,yellow and what looks to be purple or brown,the motor is currently running in a ccw direction,the start cap. Has three wires on it 2 yellows and a red,

I have a Carrier WeatherMaker 8000 and my inducer motor goes in the opposite direction when furnace is not running. Could this cause a mis-firing. Without consistency I get a code 14 or 34 when furnace fails to work. Completed a component test and all seems well. Help.
