What cant I do and can she make me quit my job
I'm from va and I've been on probation for 15 months and had a very bad drug habit before. I've relapsed onece and have a dirty urine bt I've been doing great since. I have a job with a guy that's been a good friend and tried to keep me off everything and moving forward. I do travel with this job and the job before this I traveled and was approved by the chief. I did take about 3 months off due to my dirty urine cause she said that she wanted to watch me better and I understood. Now she's saying she's not allowing it at all. I told her I have to work and support my son. I'm getting ready to move wher I'm getting him back. Can we talk about it and then its like the devil come out in her. I ask what are my options and she said that when she said jump I say how high. I told her that I know people that's went to the judge and got certain things approve. She told me it wnt work that anything I say she will be there to insure it.

You are in a right to work state... that means you are an AT-WILL employee... they don't need a reason to get rid of you. All they have to do is say we don't need you any more, and you are no longer employed.

They don't have to accommodate you particularly with drug problems. Or any other legal problems either.

So you do exactly what they say... it doesn't matter if you have twelve kids to support or just yourself. Sure they can make you want to quit so they don't have to do it... but they can get rid of you for any reason they want. You don't actually have to do anything wrong.

You mention chief... is this your supervisor at work, your employer... or is this your PO?

Since you violated, while on this other job, and was traveling, I am not sure they will, even judge will allow you to travel. But threatening the PO is not the way to get what you want, if you are going to go to judge, then JUST DO IT> hire attorney and file.

But if the job can be shown to be a problem, they can stop you from dong it.
OPTIONS> get other job that does not requier travel

my point is can she make me quite. Its been approved for 15 months and nothing has happened. My drug problem is at home around other people. I'm not trying to run or do grugs on the road. I get randoms while I'm out of town plus she drug test me. I set up to see a addiction conselor plus going to na and I told her I was dirty and messed up. She didn't catch me. I want to keep doing good and have my son and I'm getting married soon. I need this job to afford what I owe out.when I'm out of town I live in a tractor and trailer and sit in front of million dollar house so I really don't know wher to get drugs there bt at home they r right out side my door 24 7 so its better to stay away from home
