Someone is trying to pursue me for debt with no contract and states they have evidence from me which was never given.

    What can they realistically do?

I moved your post from here to a thread of it's own. It's a new question, so you should start a new thread.

And, frankly, I fail to see what it has to do with the issues in the old thread anyway.

Please give your state or country, as well as more details to enable to give you useful answers.

If they claim to have evidence of the debt, they can try to persuade a court that their evidence proves the debt. If they can do that, they can get a judgment against you.

In general Small Claims Court is informal. "He" will present his side of the case (and that includes any evidence he may have), and you will submit your side (and any evidence).

The Judge will believe one of you.

Did you or did you not borrow the money? There does not have to be written contract in order for "him" to collect on the loan.

Please stop posting the same question over and over. It's been answered - twice that I know of.

UK consumer credit law is my speciality.

    Basically, no contract, no liability.
Implied contract is NO contract in English law.

More detail would be useful to better assist with your issue.
