    Angry red welts that itch
For a week now my forearms have been swelling up with nasty red welts and bumps- looks like I scratched a hundred mosquito bites. Then the swelling goes down and I have itchy red dots. Only from my elbow to my wrist, though. I started a new job a month ago- that's the only new thing, but it only just started a few days ago. Any ideas?

We can't diagnose here. See a dermatologist for a proper diagnosis.

This recently happened to me! Just my forearms, up to the edge of my tee shirt sleeves. I had been doing a lot of planting of flowers, working in the soil. I saw no bugs flying or crawling, yet the bites were definitely 'bites.' They didn't look like mosquito or any kind of bug bite I had ever seen. They also would all die down for a day and then come raging back without working in the yard. They are gone now, even though I have been still gardening. I have no clue. Some sort of tiny no-see-um that comes out in early spring in New England, I guess.

What do you do at your job? There are many allergies. Some people are even allergic to the ink used on paper money.
