    Bathroom water will not shut off
    I can't seem to get my hot water to shut off all the way in my bathtub.

    Id change a washer if it's a constant trickle or a drip. Taps wear out you may need to replace it or a small inexpensive washer or plumbers thread.

    Most tub/shower valves are not using washers nowadays. Most will have a cratridge with many parts and these cartridges usually need to be replaced, so be aware of that Deannawi24... ;)

    Shut water, remove handle, remove trim and access parts accordingly. Take the part/cartridge over to a local plumbing supply store and see if they have replacement parts OR, call the manufacturer and talk with tech. services... parts may be under warranty!

    I had no idea the new system was in place for taps thanks for that for future notice I've still got the old style ones
